The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former twice unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Difference
As both boxers engaged in the customary face-off, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really proceeding.
